Roles:
The Post and Telecommunications Museum Foundation was established in 1995 in the wake of the reform of the Federal German Post Office. It operates a communications museum in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Nuremberg respectively and the philately archive in Bonn. The museums are aimed at a wide public. They host not only attractive permanent and temporary exhibitions, but also lectures, guided tours, films, workshops, children's workshops and museum festivals. The objectives of the foundation are the collection, development and display of the entire development of transmission of information in the postal and telecommunications sectors.
